Web apps & customer portals

A place your customers log in to, instead of calling you to ask where things stand.

01 · What this is

Booking, member areas, dealer portals, marketplaces. The login your customers have been asking for.

A portal is the cheapest customer service you will ever buy. Order status, job progress, documents, invoices, payments, messages: every one of those is a phone call you do not have to take. We build customer-facing web applications that carry your brand, sign people in securely, and show them exactly the slice of your system they are allowed to see. Booking systems, member areas, dealer and franchise portals, marketplaces, quoting front ends. Real accounts, real permissions, real audit trail.

  1. 01Secure sign-in, roles, and permissions from day one
  2. 02Booking, payments, documents, and messaging where they earn their keep
  3. 03Talks to the systems you already run
  4. 04Built to survive an audit, not just a demo
02 · What you get

Scope, then a real number.

Quoted from your brief. Scoped around the one thing your customers call you about most, and expanded once that is live.

What it costs

Every project is quoted from your own brief. No packages, no tiers, and no published price to reverse-engineer your scope from.

Describe your project
03 · Where we work

Web app development across the Midwest.

Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin are the five states we actively sell into, and the work is remote-first, so a shop in Toledo gets the same build as one an hour from the office. The team sits in Belgium and the Netherlands, six hours ahead of Michigan, which means whatever you send at the end of your day is usually answered before the start of your next one.

The full FAQ
  • What is the difference between a web app and a website?

A website tells people things. A web app lets them do things. If a visitor reads it and calls you, that is a website. If they sign in, see data that belongs specifically to them, and take an action that changes something in your business, that is a web app. Most companies need both, and they should share one brand and one login.

  • Can a portal connect to the software we already use?

Usually yes. If your accounting, CRM, or scheduling system has an API, we connect to it rather than replacing it. If it does not, we tell you that plainly before you spend money on the assumption that it does. Integrations are quoted per system because the honest cost is set by their API, not by us.

  • How do you handle customer logins and security?

Managed authentication, hashed credentials, role-based permissions, and an audit trail on anything that touches money or personal data. We do not roll our own crypto and we do not store a password we could read. Access rules are written down at the brief stage so nobody discovers in month four that every customer could see every invoice.

Describe the job.

A sentence or two about what you need is enough to start. We ask a few questions, then a person writes back with the scope, the timeline, and a quote with the line items behind it.

Your domain and your data are yours on every plan, whatever happens. We do not hold a domain or your customer records as leverage, not even if you stop paying. Ask and we hand your data over.
