Grower & customer portals

A login for your growers, haulers, and customers, instead of a phone call every time they want to know where things stand.

01 · What this is

A login for your haulers, buyers, or customers that shows each of them only their own loads and records.

A portal is the cheapest customer service an ag or livestock business can buy. Order status, load location, settlement records, documents: every one of those is a call you do not have to take. We build the logged-in surface where a hired hauling company's dispatcher sees their assigned loads, or a customer checks an order, each seeing only the slice of your system that's theirs.

That can take the shape of a hauler portal, where a hired trucking company gets its own login and sees only its own loads, or staff logins, where a field consultant signs in and sees only their assigned growers' placements, inventory checks, and two-stage payments, a down payment at delivery, settlement at shipment. Growers themselves can stay as records on that system rather than logins, with the same scoping ready to build a grower login if your operation calls for one.

Real accounts, real permissions, and a record that holds up if someone asks how a number was reached. If your operation already runs on a spreadsheet that a grower emails questions about, that spreadsheet is usually the shape of the portal we'd build.

02 · What you get

Scope, then a real number.

Quoted from your brief. Scoped around the one thing your growers or customers call you about most, and expanded from there.

What it costs

Every project is quoted from your own brief. No packages, no tiers, and no published price to reverse-engineer your scope from.

03 · Where we work

Grower and customer portals for ag businesses across the Midwest.

Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin are the five states we actively sell into, and we work with livestock and ag businesses anywhere in the US. Mule works remotely, over calls, video, and shared screens, and comes on site when a project needs it; travel is quoted with the work.

The full FAQ
  • What can a portal like this include?

Growers can stay as records rather than logins: a field consultant signs in and sees only their assigned growers' placements, and runs the inventory checks that flag a count mismatch, with two-stage payment tracked alongside, a down payment at delivery, settlement at shipment. A hired trucking company can log into its own portal and see only the loads assigned to it.

  • Can different users see different things?

Yes, that's the point of a portal instead of a shared spreadsheet. Roles are set server-side: a grower sees their own placements, a hired hauler sees their own loads, and nobody sees data that isn't theirs by accident.

  • Does a portal replace phone calls entirely?

No, and we wouldn't promise that. It removes the calls people make just to check status, so the calls that are left are the ones that actually need a conversation.

  • Can it handle payments or settlement records?

Yes, where that's part of the brief. Two-stage payment tracking, a down payment at delivery and settlement at shipment, is a pattern we build into staff and portal systems for livestock operations.

  • Do our customers need to install anything?

No. It's a web login, so it works from a phone or a computer without an app store.

Describe the job.

A sentence or two about what you need is enough to start. We ask a few questions, then a person writes back with the scope, the timeline, and a quote with the line items behind it.

Your domain and your data are yours on every plan, whatever happens. We do not hold a domain or your customer records hostage, not even if you stop paying. Ask and we hand your data over.
