Accessibility statement
Mule's WCAG 2.2 AA target, what we do, and known limitations.

Mule wants www.mule.sh and the Mule Portal to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or reduced motion, and people working outdoors on a phone in bright sun or with gloves on.
Target
We design and test against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, which is also the standard referenced by the European Accessibility Act and EN 301 549.
What we do
- Semantic HTML: one heading structure per page, landmarks, labelled form fields and a skip link.
- Full keyboard use, including the navigation menus (arrow keys move between tabs, Escape closes) and the cookie banner.
- Text contrast of at least 4.5:1, a Day and a Night display, and text that reflows at 400% zoom.
- Motion that explains data, never decoration. If your device asks for reduced motion, every animation shows its final state and the hero video shows a still frame.
- Charts and animations have text alternatives that state the data.
- Figures are written as text, never only as images.
Known limitations
- Some data illustrations are canvas based; their text description gives the same information in summary form.
- Page bodies are in English while translation into French, German, Dutch and Flemish is under way. Navigation and forms are already translated.
