Case Studies
Two halves of one chain.
Case 01 shows what the animal is and what it is worth. Case 02 shows who had it, when, and in what condition on the road. Both are told through the data each system produces and the decisions it makes possible.
Case 01 · Calf records
Every calf, one record. From the dairy alley to the carcass rail.
A calf-sourcing operation turned a drawer of birth lists, scale tickets and packer settlements into one traceable record per animal, and now sees what each head really cost and earned.
Hundreds of calves a week · Under 10 source dairies · 2 to 3 depots
Case 02 · Livestock hauling
Every load, signed for.
A regional livestock hauler replaced text-message dispatch with one system where yards order, dispatch fills, drivers deliver, and every head is counted and signed for at the gate.
About 10 customer yards · A roster of about 30 drivers · About 48 head a load
Each system runs on its own today. Clients are not named. Results to follow after the first full season, published with each client's approval.

FAQ
About these cases
Why are the clients not named?
Our agreements keep clients confidential. We describe each operation by scale, in ranges, and never name the business, its people, its yards or its towns.
Where are the results?
Neither system has a full season of operating history yet. Each case lists what we will measure, and results follow after the first season, published with the client's approval.
Can Mule build something like this for my operation?
Every system is built around the operation it serves. Start a project with a short brief and we reply within 1 business day.
